I have my GCSE French speaking in about a week and I'm really nervous. It's really annoying because when I'm nervous I tend to lose my voice and stuff so the situation isn't ideal.

Any suggestions on how to overcome nervousness or stop myself from losing my voice or just anything really. I need an A in this exam......

Have a fag before you go in?

Don't be nervous, the speaking part doesn't count for much and as it's your own teacher who does it, they are generous to maek themselves look better >.<

I did mine last year and i was really nervous but it only lasts 10 or so minutes so there is no need to worry loads.

I trip over words when speaking, and I didn't get penalised for it. Or if I did, it wasn't anything much. Don't worry too much, as long as you've learnt your presentation you'll be fine. When I had mine, the teacher looked at what questions we had to prepare answers for, checked my prepared answers over, corrected them, gave them back and then started the test
Seriously, just don't worry too much. It also helps a lot if you actually understand what you're saying. Rather than learn a load of French off by heart, understand the translation and how you've constructed the sentence. Making it make sense does wonders.
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.
