I'm currently doing this long-a$$ history report, and I need some nice, upbeat music to keep me from stabbing myself in the face. I'm pretty much tired of listening to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Reel Big Fish, so, does anyone know any good ska bands? Thanks in advance, .

There's always the obligatory Catch 22 and Streetlight Manifesto. I'm actually listening to Catch 22 right now.

Some older stuff from The Living End can be considered ska. i guess most of their stuff is kinda in between ska and regular punk. its hard to classify.

Ermm I Would Go For

Mustard Plug
Catch 22
Capdown
Voodoo Glow Skulls (Look For "Shoot The Moon" By These As Its A Gd One)

I can't believe it took so long for someone to say The Voodoo Glow Skulls.

I don't really like ska at all but I can tolerate some of their stuff every once in a great while.

All ska is good ska.

You can rate ska's goodness on a scale of how much it makes you want to wear a hat.

(Note: I'm talking real ol' ska, not the odd American punk stuff)
#33
Streetlight Manifesto
Catch 22
Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution
The Johnstones
The Toasters
The Specials
Mad Caddies

I saw Streetlight with The Johnstones last week, it was absolutely insane.
Best show I have seen in some time.

A lot of the good ska bands have already been mentioned if you bother to look through the thread, but I'm going to add Fandangle, [spunge], Capdown and Operation Ivy.
