Ibanez PGM301

Ibanez JS1200

Fender Eric Johnson Strat.

Eff me, that's mostly my list. I would have gone with Robert Cray Strat instead of the EJ, though.

I'm hearing a steady *thump thump* from the people above me and I need some porno grooves to play on my bass to give them some background music. Any ideas?

Resize the pictures!

But they are pretty sick guitars.

Yeah I should've thought about that, but JEM looked so beautiful so I decided to put in a big pitcure. (Which appears to me like a full size scan)

What do you find so bad about the way JEM looks ?

Just the messy mismatched colors. Especially the pickups! Arghhh!!!!

I'd hate the guitar as a whole if it didn't sound like sex.

Don't know whether a RR is really a signature model. I know it's designed by him but it's not marketed as the Randy rhoads sig. Plus other people have sigs using that style.

It's like saying the Les paul is a sig model.

- Epiphone Joe Perry Boneyard. Yeah, it's only an Epi, but that's why it's actually good. There's no other guitar in the price range that has the same features. Whereas the Tony Iommi and Slash signatures can be eaisly replicated for cheaper, the Joe Perry can't. The Gibson Joe Perry is far better, but it also costs more too, and the quality:price ratio isn't as good on the Gibson. Basically the Epi version is a great guitar for the price. It's been discontinued now though.

- Fender Richie Sambora Stratocaster, early/mid 90's. Second best guitars ever built. So good that Eric Clapton adopted a few of the features from it after he worked with Richie on his first solo album using the RS Signature Strats. The 'full' American version was HSS with a coil-tap on the bridge humbucker (and a true total split at that, not just some crap fading out one of the coils), top-quality pearl inlays, 0-25db mid boost, and the most gorgeous neck you'll ever play; slim like most Fenders at the higher frets for full-on fret wanking, thicker like an early 60's Gibson at the lower frets for smooth, comfortable chording. Basically, it's exactly like the very overpriced current Eric Clapton strat, but with the option of having a humbucker (or not, thanks coil-tap!) at the bridge. It cost half what the EC model cost too.

- Kramer Jersey Star. It's not technically a signature, since Richie Sambora (yes, him again) doesn't actually endrose it, but it's based off of his early Kramer Super-Strat guitars, and in some ways even improves on them. Three humbuckers (with full coil tap options), fully anchored floyd rose ( a vast improvement over how any other guitar in the world uses a FR bridge), pearl inlays again, the very speed-friendly Kramer neck, and the first runs had 24k gold hardware. It's the only guitar you could ever buy which doesn't need any of it's stock features changing. The one and only drawback of it is that it's got a maple body, which while accurate to Richie's early guitars, is a bit limiting; it'd be nicer to see it with an alder, basswood or mahogany body.

Richie's not the best guitarist in the world, but I'll be buggered he has the best gear.
