I have trouble keeping my finger position 90 degrees to the fretboard as it were ..

i.e. if you imagine the fretboard and my the lines being the ends of my fingers, my first finger and fourth are like naturally falling into a position that's at a different angle to my second and third .. i don't think that's a very good explanation, perhaps a visual aid might help.

kinda like outwards, y'see?

so um, just wondering if anyone else has this trouble or is it just my retarded fingers.

so my calluses are on the edge of my fingertip instead of in the ****ing middle, get it!?

I see, I have it too, and I think a lot of people do. Don't worry about it, it's normal. I can play the main riff of cowboys from hell too, with MY retarded fingers . Don't worry.

This is not me, but you see his index finger and his pinky (index especially)? Index is slanted a ton, but that doesn't matter. I have it too, and a lot of people have it, but you can play perfectly fine with it.
