What would you choose?

A) *Dunlop Crybaby Wah*, *Fender PT-100 Pedal Tuner*, *Boss CH-1 SUPER Chorus*, *Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator*, *Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer * and the *Electro-Harmonix USA Big Muff* ($490)

B) Boss GT-8 ($450)

For example, the crybaby doesn't come highly regarded round here....
I'd recommend a Small Clone over the Super chorus probably, on a budget. Compressors, i would suggest (based on reviews) an MXR compressor over the Boss, dependant on funds
Look around for alternatives

I'd take single pedals over a multi effects unit any time. Multi effects are definitely fun to play with, but I think that single effect units privide much better tonal quality IMO

trust me the ac-3 is HORRIBLE do not buy it is a complete waste of money
the ch-1 is definitely not as good as a small clone
maybe a boss tuner instead of fender?
most likely don't need a compression sustainer if you have a tube amp
they have some natural compression

right Metallica is a given. Personally I like to pretend the bus exploded and killed them all in '86.

I say GT-8 if you are just starting out and don't know what effects you really need and don't know how to use pedal, i am not saying GT-8 is simple to use but it is easier to get tone that one likes because of the preset and some of the setting that other post in the internet which one can download to their GT-8. I am not saying that GT-8 is just for beginners but in all means its a pro tool for band like opeth (whatever the name) and Marty Friedman use them, you can get better tones that single pedal if you know how to use it, and with a PA system you won't regret this baby.

But if you know what you want the pedals are better, but not all of them because some of them isn't that much better than the GT-8 if fact its worst. So choosing the right one is essential and a good quality one is more important.

Thats my opinion

The 95F or 535Q Crybabys are better, or the JH-1 Hendrix wah if you like it. Also, other wahs like the Vox, Buddha, Fulltone ones etc.
