I'm going to buy a bass tomorrow, most likely. I'm going to choose a precicion bass or jazz, what do you recommend me? I play mostly rock. Which of those 2 do you recommend me?

How about this one (discovered by thefitz): http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190201229958

It suits "all styles of play".

...Just check the FAQ mate.

Vagina's tend to be not all that great looking most of the time. It's all... flappy. Looks sloppy.

I'd have to say guy junk wins but not by much. It's like winning a beauty contest against Steve Buscemi.

Not really, because then you lack the jazz's neck pickup, which sounds very different to precision pickup.

Now, if yo had linked to an Urge II, I'd have given you the credit .

However, you also have to remember the difference in neck shapes of the two. Some find the chunky neck of the P bass obstructive, while others find the Jazz neck too thin to be comfortable on.

urge II is freekin expensive though. not for beginners unless you have the cash.
and its a sig too that puts me off.

well i think its the best of both worlds. and especially for the price.

For rock I'd go with the P bass, although I generally prefer the J bass.

Just try them at the store and play around with the EQ, see what you like.

Actually, I find this is one of the few sigs that is worth serious consideration, because they have actually done something really special with it, rather than removing controls, adding a decal or giving it a different brand of pickups.

Though it is pretty expensive, I'll give you that.
