Now, despite my username, I'm not much of a protege.
I haven't been playing guitar that long and I need some help.
Can anybody suggest some good songs to play for a beginner with an acoustic?
Thanx ^^

your name is wrong anyway, you're thinking of "prodigy". a protegé is like a special student, who studies under a master.

Wrong forum, and I will post the obligatory, Dragonforce.
But seriously, try Tom Petty, a lot of his songs are pretty easy chord progressions.

Dragonforce is for people who actually can't play the guitar.

Try learning some classical music. Anything you can learn with that will help you later.
