Go post this in Guitar and Bass Basics.

Ignore the Chantrolls.

And my answer would be to stretch out your fingers before playing.

diabetes actually effects a large portion of guitarists.
u shouldnt play more then 2 hours at a time.

That's what you get for posting in the Pit

rules of the Pit

1: It's bottomless, ergo, once you go in, you never come out. Alive, at least
2: You sign an unseen and unspoken of contract saying that you allow everyone to be an asshole to you.
3: We are anonymous
4: We are legion

at least that how I've always seen it.

well i just assumed that someone would be kind enough to lend me their advice but apparently i was wrong
#23
Dude, we're just messing with you, that happened to me when i started playing, just take a break, it stops hurting eventually.

arthritis i'm 17

doesnt matter how old you are. Arthritis can be any age. Im in my late 20's and a dr once diagnosed me with beginning arthritis like 5 years ago but said it most likely started when I was much younger. Alot of guitarists Im sure have some kind of arthritis or inflammation. Dont worry about it. Just do some good stretches and warm up for about 10 minutes

Dr. Pit needs to consult his colleague Dr. Satchafunkilus. Will post results when Chinese Democracy is released.
