i went to my local guitar center today and saw some pedals in the back. none on display and no pricetag. i asked what they were. the lady told me they were blackhearts new pedals. i asked to try one. she gave me the high distortion model called the "distx". i took it over to a blackheart plexi model.

oh. my. god.

possibly the most amazing/diverse sound i have ever heard from a boutique pedal. unfortunately i was broke. but dear lord. if i had the $180 to drop on it. i would. buy this pedal.

You said Blackheart Distx. Blackheart is an amp company; you're just slightly confused.

oh i guess i was too afixed on the amp name lol... yes. a blackstar pedal through a blackheart amp. haha...

would you say this pedal is adequate for lamb of god type tones?

no.........

the best distortion pedal ever created was the original rat, it can nail an overdriven plexi, hot rodded jcm, and awsome modern high gain tone with the turn of three knobs

That's completely subjective.

I have yet to try that pedal out but I am dying to do so.

Good thing you typed it in bold.

Otherwise he may not have seen his mistake.
