I had my TSL 60 sent in to get retubed and get a new reverb tank installed.
They put in RUBY EL34BSTR's instead of the JJ EL34's I asked for.
I sent it back in a couple days ago. Hopefully they get the right ones this time.

When I am playing on the OD channels, the amp makes this noise. It sounds almost like someone blowing on a mic.
Is it like a faulty input or something?

Im stoked to get my amp back though :]

Sounds like a dirty pot or preamp tube. Since you're getting the tubes changed, does the noise change if you turn any of the pots while the amp's making noise?

I tried different EQ settings, tweaked with the presense. When I drop the gain real low it goes away more but not completely.

They put tung-sols and rubys in about a month so i dont think its a pre amp tube.
but it never made the noise until i got it back from them.

There isn't anyway to tell what the problem is right now cause i dont have the amp.
but if it comes back the same way im going to be really dissapointed and will attempt to fix it myself.
