There's honestly not much you could really do to it to make it sound any better unless you want to spend almost as much as it cost, which wouldn't make sense to cause you shoulda just bought a better amp in the first place if you had the money to spend and weren't happy with the sound of the cube.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

It's a funny thread title, but how could you improve a Roland Cube without replacing the whole thing?
Global warming at my homework, sir.

new speaker maybe? what kind of pickups do you have in your current guitar, what IS your current guitar? what kind of pedals are you already using?

Sex her, take the guitar, then sex her mom and have her walk in on you. Then, mom is happy, she doesn't want to be your friend anymore, and you keep the geetar. It's a win win for America!

its some EMG designed humbuckers ( probably passive) Its a ibanez rgr321 ex .
Dont have any pedals at all. So any pedal recomendations would be good.
It would be pretty much work if i changed to some active pups right?

Dude... Actives dont sound good AT ALL through solid state or modellers. Get a freakin tube amp if you want to improve your tone. Save Save Save. Also, Pedals sound better through tube amps.
