Review Time:
Features:
One Celestion G12H speaker
2 inputs (Lo and Hi)
18 watts
Reverb

Sound:
OH MY GOD. Gorgeous, jazzy cleans and gritty, classic rock dirt. I can nail the sounds of my Twin and AC30 just by adjusting the volume. With my tele, it sings country/blues. I couldn't help but bust out a few Danny Gatton and Brad Paisley (another Z player) licks. With the 335, it is Cream all day. I had an extended Crossroads jam using my SunFace. Glorious. The Maz responds very well to my touch/picking dynamics. It took about half an hour to figure out how the controls work together and affect the overall sound, but after that, it became second nature. Also, the Z takes pedals very well. This amp has officially been relegated to home/studio use. I will let m AC/Twin get abused, and keep this beauty in pristine condition.

Did you buy it from Atlanta Discount?

The hotbar should be floating parallel to the principle axis at this point. Next, take a hammer, and beat yourself in the face while crying JIHAD. problem fixed.

Oh, lulz. I just know that they carry Dr. Zs at Atlanta Discount. My favorite store in the entire Atlanta area.

I'm taking a break to get some homework done, and all I can think about is getting back to the amp. lol

I guess this is what happens when you skip your final week of classes to go out west. Oh well...my grades are fine.

I must say you have impeccable taste in amps. Enjoy.

I wonder if there is even a Dr Z dealer here in Holland?

Thanks.

I decided last night to bring my AC30 out of hibernation. I can't wait to get home and AB/ blend the Vox and the Z. The tone may cause my ears to explode.

Yeah, I need to get an ABY box to blend together my peavey classic and blues box.
I may save up a bit more and sell the classic and get an AC30 also.
