what movies to you consider to be the most brilliantly written?

id have to go with the exercist, lord of the rings(trilogy), and the harry potter series.

I don't watch that many movies, but when I saw Fight Club goddamn that was good. But I bet most of you have already seen that movie so I don't even know what the point of this post is.

i respect that, i re-read my statement and sounded like a jerk, my bad

first off, i enjoy tarentino quite a lot, I think he's overrated

um movies I think are brilliant are
The 400 Blows
Ivan's Childhood
Oldboy
There Will Be Blood to name a few, there thousands upon thousands of brilliant movies, i actually think Resivoir Dogs is brilliant
