Ok well I got a peavey a while ago, it was used, my dad got it for me off some site (cant remember which site).

Anyways, its a Peavey Generation series EXP

On the back theres a sticker on it that says "QCM33964" i've searched that model everywhere but I cant find any guitar like mine.

heres a few pictures I took of it.

I really really want to figure out if its valuable or not, or if its rare or at least SOMETHING about it. its been so aggravating not finding anything about it.

thanks a TON if you figure out something

well the main reason im thinking it might be valuable, is because I cant find anything the same model, same color, same model anything. I cant find anything even close.

well it definitely looks like a sturdy guitar that could produce some nice sounds w/ pup upgrading if they're just regular stock pups. to me it doesn't look like it'd be worth more than a few hundred give or take, but i DONT KNOW for sure. but that doesn't mean anything, a G-400 is $300 brand new and if you upgrade all the stock stuff it sounds like a million bucks (figuratively lol)

I believe that all peaveys are made in the USA

http://i75music.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi?ProductInfo+400352747032 looks pretty close. I do realize your guitar has a different control layout and a different pick-guard but i wouldn't expect a different price. Probably less because its used.

yeah I looked, thats not my guitar. Notice theres a dot or switch in the middle of the knobs.

Mine doesnt have that

Well, those are minor differences, maybe your model is made a few years back, and now they changed some things here and there.

Looks kickass though, if you replace the pickup switch (is it broken?) I think it would do great on you.

thanks. you might be right. mine might be an older model

Well the pickup switch's knob came off a while ago, I put it somewhere and now I forgot where it was -.-. So I just gotta find it or get a replacement.

its a pretty good quality guitar too.

I still cant find any of the same model.

that one that guy posted earlier looked like it but mines different.

Maybe if you do a little investment in it and change the electronics and get it set up and all of that jazz you could get a great sounding guitar! It really has potential, and that gold finish is just teh sex.
