ok so like i sed in my other thread, i just bought a Jackson JS33RR from my friends brother. i pretty much fixed the rattling problem, it turns out i had the bridge to low. but now that i hav all the strings on, the open E string buzzes. when i hit any other note on it, its ok but when i hit it open it buzzes. i heard that you can put a peice of paper somewhere or sumthin like that. Does that work? or is there anything else i can do that isnt so un-sightly?

THANK YOU!! YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPREACIATED!

Bridge section is either too high or your friend shaved down the nut on that string. Either adjust the bridge on that string or buy a new nut (might also be able to fill it in with something depending on the material and then shave it down to the proper height). That's my best guess anyway.

adjust your action screw on that side 1/4 turn.

The two posts that hold the bridge are actually screws that you can adjust to change the height. Thats what he means.
