awhile ago my amp started acting up. when i plugged in and tried to play there wasnt any volume when there used to be planet destroying power. i replaced the 12ax7 pre-amp tubes and now i can get volume only when i turn each channels individual volume setting up. the main output knob for all 3 channels doesnt do squat anymore. also, there is a noticable popping noise when i switch to channel 2. so any ideas on how to fix this problem? i dont want to have to take the mother apart and send it in as that sounds like a huge waste of time and money and the nearest music store isnt very near at all. any help is greatly appreciated!!!
the first step to failure is trying.

Have you checked the power tubes? Volume problems generally originate there...

yeah the power tubes are working fine. ive got volume now but the overall output knob has no effect anymore so i have to change the volume on each channel individually.
