Hey guys!

Having a bit of trouble with this guitar. I'm finding it quite hard to bend (especiallly on the high E) and it just feels very "tight" when playing it!

Is there anyway of loosening this tenion, making it easier to bend?

I've trying some things with the tuss rod, with helped slightly but not a lot. I am also still yet to try a much lighter gauge string... is there maybe a string around that feels "loose" and easy to play/bend with?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Lighter string gauges like .008's and .009's are much easier to bend etc than the heavier .011's and .012's.

Get the action on your guitar lowered. That makes the strings more loose.

No it doesn't. It only moves them closer to the fretboard. Tension of the strings is determined by the string gauge, period. If you want it looser, use thinner strings.
And this is assuming that you are tuned to standard pitch. Obviously down tuning will decrease the tension as well. String tension ratings are all based on standard, concert pitch, EADGBe.
