Hello! Im planing to change pickups on my Ibanez Jet King 2 guitar. I want them to be more aggressive for hard rock and heavy metal. Can you reccomend something? Maybe Seymour Duncan Jazz&JB or DiMarzio Evolution? Thanks !

never heard blackouts myself to comment on them. emgs would have way too much gain for hard rock and early heavy metal. jb/jazz combo or jb/59 combo would work great

im switching to EMGs-the active 81/85s. if u ever heard zakk wylde thats what he uses to get all those pinch harmonics (squealies). a really good pickup for a metal style.
My pedalboard is worth more than my car, but that doesn't say much for either.

Totally agree... too much gain. I am thinking of classic hard rock and heavy metal, not nu metal or something like that. I also dont want active pickups. I think the best choice is JB/Jazz...

Those specs are killer, but it might help if you mentioned what guitar it is.

EMG's definitley for Hard Rock and Metal. I'd check out the Zakk Wylde Set (I Think its an 81/60)
