Hey Pit, what do you think are the best guitar segments out there played in major keys? This would exclude stuff like the riff from Smoke On The Water, and anything else played in a minor key, minor third intervals, etc.

Here are some of mine:

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd - (first solo)
Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns 'N' Roses - (riff + first 2 two solos)
Paradise City - Guns 'N' Roses - (intro)
Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd - (slide guitar solo at the beginning)
Cliffs of Dover - Eric Johnson - (most of it)
Blue Sky - Allman Brothers Band - (solos)

Steve Reich - Electric Counterpoint (Fast)
The Velvet Underground - Heroin
The Beatles - Let it Be
Tiger style.
