Well I've been looking at a Guild GAD JF30 and I've had a hard time deciding colors. I've only seen the guitar in natural, but the other finishes of the guitar have caught my eye. Unforunately since I have never seen them in real life I'm not sure if it's worth the gamble. I'm essentially locked into the transaction so I couldn't change my mind later if I were to order it.

Would it be better to play it safe and buy it in natural or just take chances and buy it in a different finish?

I always prefer a natural finish. It makes for easier repairs (because of visibility) and it colors with age. Just my opinion, though. It's just a personal decision.
Sincerely, Chad.
