Simply, I want to learn fingerpicking. However I want to get off to the correct start but I'm having a hard time finding what seems to be good sources.

Can someone give me some books, DVDs, websites, or anything that can help me learn the correct way to fingerpick?

Thanks!

There are some great resources on this site. Try using the search bar or checking the 'Lessons' section of the main site. If you look around, there are also some good youtube vids.

As an introduction, I'd suggest Romanza (A.k.A. Spanish Romance). It's a fairly basic pattern, a great way to start developing independance with your fingers, and it sounds cool

Yessir!

I have been looking on this site and around the Tube, I just didn't know if there were some more formal approaches save actually getting lessons, because that isn't an option.
