Sometime soon Ill be putting a duncan distortion in my strat, and Im thinking it would be a good idea to replace the single coils too. Currently I have the fender samarium pups that came stock. Would it be a good idea to compensate for the hot bridge and put hotter single coils in the neck and middle? I need something that can still do cleans though, as I do play often chordy clean stuff. I dont want it to sound all humbuckerish in the neck. What do you guys think?

Look at some Laces. I would suggest a red middle and a blue neck. The red is a nice, hot single, while the blue is more like a fat Strat neck pickup.
