im going for a new amp and im wondering which one is better

Now i know im comparing solids to tubes but the peavies seem to lack features. And one friend has a the bandit 112 from like 10 years ago and has way more feauteres and knobs than the current one. and if i get the solid states i can get pedals so please help :

Who cares about features if you have great basic tone?
Just buy pedals later. Pedals are usually better than built in effects anyways (atleast on amps of that price)

Uh-huh. Besides it has send-return jacks, so you can plug as many pedals as you want with no problems. Why solid state? I tried a valveking once and it was the best amp i've ever plugged in in my life.
