Hi All,
I just finished setting up my new computer and have downloaded iTunes. When I opened iTunes for the first time about ten minutes ago I got a pop-up saying that my audio playback was not connected. How do I fix/connect my playback?

FYI: Limewire won't play audio either, but everything else (Internet, etc.) is fine audio-wise.

your problem is most likely one of hardware

goto...
start menu>
control panel>
device manager>
look for your sound card

if you dont find one>
>well theres your problem
>its unplugged or hardware-disabled

if you find one with an error>
>post the error here i might be able to help
>type the error into your favorite tech forum

if you find one without an error>
>its a software problem
>in this case youre S.O.L.
>i have this problem frequently as well
>totally unplug the comp from everything, replug, restart

restart, and close anything else that might be using audio
itunes can be picky with that
