I was wondering what is the difference of the Jackson Dinky and Soloist. Thanks for your time

Dinky is cheaper.

soloists are essentially high end dinkys.... they will have real floyd rose trems as opposed to licensed ones, and wont have bolt on necks, and have better pickups usually

Dinkies are made in Japan, Soloist are made in USA, but Japan is known for high quality control cuz you know how they are with high standards Also some Soloist have the same pickups as the dinkies, so Dinkies are absolute win!

I'm definetly buying a DK2 in the near future!

The absolute main difference is the Soloists are Neck-thru and the Dinkys are Bolt On. In my opinion the Soloists are generally better than the dinkys.

All wrong except Darkness.
Both Soloists and Dinky are equal in quality, they both have a USA Select model, but Dinky has a Signature series and an entry level series (JS, X). As for guitar differences:
Dinky is bolt-on with dual humbuckers
Soloist is neck-thru with humbucker single single configuration.

Both guitars in the same price range are equally good, depending on preference.

You're right. At least most soloists have HSS and most dinkys are HH
