I have not cried, I have not laughed. All I can say is that these are some pretty sad pictures.

The Composer got me. Haven't cried like that in quite some time. It was more than just tearing up.

Scene from Fresh Prince. Will's dad leaves him.

I never thought I'd see the day that Fresh Prince made me cry.
I lost, but it might be because of some personal issues that it reminded me of.

I've never cried during a movie, but in this scene, but I came to closest to crying during The Pianist at this scene:

Basically, Szpilman, a jew, had been in hiding for a very long time, and then the german officer finds him here.

And this really did happen. It's in Wladyslaw Szpilman's memoirs.

I saw another version of that once. Same words and all, but they'd left the last panel in colour, which I liked better, because this new version is just trying too hard. One of the saddest ****ing things I ever saw.

I was going to post that, but I thought it would take up too much room, since my post was long enough already.

That was definitely one of my favorite movies, and one of only a few that made me cry.

The only other time I've cried recently at a movie is during I Am Legend, and the end of Into the Wild.

Thanks for posting.

I just did, and I gotta say, I lose.
I didn't think it would make me cry. I was smiling most of the way through it, but the end. Damn...

The Journalist, the Vulture, and the Child
The haunting photo of a vulture stalking an emaciated Sudanese girl who'd collapsed on her way to a feeding station won photographer Kevin Carter a Pulitzer Prize in 1994. Carter also become notorious for sticking to the journalistic principle of being an observor and not getting involved -- he left after taking his photo and neither he, nor the New York Times, which first published the photo on 26 March 1993, knew what happened to her. (Looking at the photo, it's hard to imagine a pleasant ending.) A few months later after collecting his Pulitzer, Carter committed suicide, the violence he'd encountered in his life as a journalist, especially in South Africa, becoming too much to live with.

I remember reading about that in House Of Leaves, although, I wasn't sure it was real or not, because of all the fake citations.

EDIT: And I remember in Hardball, when I was younger, I almost cried when the little kid was shot.

I've lost so hard at like everything. That Ugly story was cheesy as hell, but I cried. I lost at The Composer too, and at Fry's dog... even though I've seen it before.

That scene from The Pianist is sad, but there are parts that get me worse in that movie.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.
