dude, huges and kettner. by far my bogner is the best but you cant get that for 400 so id say get a solid h&k head with and cab and it will sound like God is playing. ive had my h&k for a while, no problams, great tones, realy loud. they make high or low output & gain depending on what you want. there tube amps are amazing, all togather, they make the perfict amp for a serious guitarist

Definitely the Laney.
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.

Go with the Vox, you can cover almost any tone you want with the right EQ work.

Better than hooked on crack, I suppose. I'd rather know my kids are safe at home beating their meat than out in the world robbing old women for their crack fix.

I have a vox ad50vt with 2 12" speakers, but I just chose ad30vt, since it's the same thing, but smaller and 1 speaker.

Chances are you will never get a good head OR a cab for $400.
Now officially has too much gear to list

PM me if you want to know about my recording setup

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
