do i need to change capacitors even if i'm NOT changing potentiometers (pots)?

do i need f-spaced pups (neck AND bridge) on ibanez s5470?

what are you talking about?
how about a little detail on the project buddy?

modding pups for my ibanez s5470.
changing to dimarzio evolutions and hs-2.
ibanez wiring diagram shows jem7v potentiometers are the same as s5470, which are 500K-A (tone) and 500K-B (volume).
i don't know about the pots of the s5470.
f-space question remains the same.

If you are not changing the tone pot you dont need to change the tone capacitor

and you only need an F spaced pickup in the bridge position (assuming your guitar has a tremolo) not in the neck.

Because I'm amazing?

haha

No because thats just how F spacing works, I think it stands for 'Floyd Rose spacing' meaning if you have a tremolo the bridge pickup needs to be wider to cover all the strings correctly.

Cant remember where I read it, probably dimarzio.com yeah.
