For 500€ max, so I'm thinking about a 22" or 24" LCD monitor. I have a few monitors in mind

- Samsung 226BW, 22", 3000:1 contrast ratio, and I've read a lot of good things about it. But it only has a DVI-D (HDCP) input. 300€, cheapest of the bunch.

- HP Pavilion W2408H, 24", 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1920x1200 resolution with an HDMI input so it's Full HD. At 450€ it seemed like a solid monitor, until I saw the next one.

- Samsung 2493HM, 24", 10,000:1 contrast ratio, Full HD, all that jazz for 500€. But the thing is it's new, just came out this year and I don't know how reliable it is.

If I get the 24" Samsung, will it be worth the extra 200€ or should I just go for the cheap and reliable 22" and buy games with the leftovers? The contrast ratio is tempting, but does it really make that big of a difference? Do you have any other suggestions? A good HD ready TV? Help me out here
