I have a Marshall MG30DFX combo, I actually like the sound but I know I can get a much better tone. Are there any good quality tube amps that aren't going to leave me with no money? I don't want to part with loads of cash for it. I don't play too loud but I may be practicing with a drummer so It will need a good amount of volume. Any reccomendations?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
