ones made in russia and ones made in new york. they each have their own sound but have the same controls. the russian/cheaper black one doesnt have a power supply in, as least mine doesnt. and i think the usa model/more expensive silver one does have one so that might be the only difference

the only difference that i see is the bypass. The black pedal has a buffered bypass while the normal pedal has a true bypass.

One of thems not better or worse than the other, they're just different. Most people seem to prefer the USA Big Muff, but personally I prefer the sound of the Russian. But thats just my opinion I suppose.
