What classic rock songs are there will really great drumming in? We have songs with lots of guitar and bass and our drummer wants a cover that's very drumming orientated.

Pretty much anything by The Who. And Good times Bad times is awesome. But ive never heard a good cover of it ;(

when i was in a cover band, my drummer always liked to play spirit of the radio by rush, and it's still kind of bass and guitar oriented.

Definitely anything by Rush. A lot of Hair Metal is very drum-oriented. Def Leppard has some great drumming, too.

Not as much the top-40 stuff, but album cuts like Jacob's Ladder and the like.
