Yea go with Spanish Romance. It is fairly easy and sounds nice. Im learning that song too.

Oh and you might find this helpful too: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_ypx8caI6vk

on a different note, do i really need long nails to play classical/acoustic guitar or can I use my finger tips?

For examples of romantic guitar, go for

Francisco Tarrega - Adelita, Lagrima, Etude in E minor, Recuerdos de la Alhambra, Capricho Arabé, and Gran Vals.

And for example Un dia de Novembre by Leo Brouwer.

You could look into some Fernando Sor, for example the etude in my profile.

Look the songs up from youtube.
