I know this is gonna be a really noob-ish question, but i looked at the ENGL Screamer 50w Combo manual, and there was this thing about "F.X. Loop Send" and "F.X. Loop Return." Those were 2 1/4 input jacks on the back of the amp. Are you supposed to do something like this? :

l------------pedal--------------------pedal-----------------FX LOOP SEND
l
l
l------------------------pedal--------------------------------FX LOOP RETURN

yeah i know i'm stupid, but i need some clarification. Thanks!

yeah...if i read the diagram correctly

EDIT: make sure you arent putting distortion or anything like that in there...you wont like the sound.
people with large sig's are clearly compensating for something.

I have my wah, Phase, CS-1 chorus and tuner running direct from my guitar to my amp, then I have my delay and CE-3 chorus running through the effects loop.
running a chorus pedal gives a different effect than running it direct, so i use 2, and get the best of both worlds.
some things sound good of better through the effects loop, some do not.
Now officially has too much gear to list

PM me if you want to know about my recording setup
