Im having trouble playing chords for a song.
My teacher told me to use a capo.
I wanna play it asap so I can surprise him.

here are the chords.

F-G-Em-C

C- C/F -C-C/F-C-C/F-G-C

G - Am - F -G-C

so... If I use a capo, what fret do i put it on and what chord do I play to get the same sound?
I wanna go back to where I was...

Maybe your teacher wants you to experiment with different voicings for these chords? What you do is subtract a half step for each fret you capo. For example, if you put your capo on the third fret and you want to play an F chord, you subtract three half steps from F and finger a D chord. It takes a lot of thought at first, but is a good exercise.
