They are quickly becoming one of my favourite bands, and I've yet to meet anyone else who listens to them.

I was going to go see them with Nile, but I got a D.U.I the weekend before so I was grounded.
Great band though, would've been awesome to see them. Already a thread I beleive...
If you see me in the pit, know that I'm only there because the metal forum is moving slowly.

^^I saw that show. I had never heard of them before seeing them there, honestly. It definitely left a good impression, they played flawlessly. Really interesting stuff, I've been meaning to look more into them when I get a chance and actually remember, haha.

Never listen to this stuff if your brain is fried at five in the morning; I nearly had an aneurysm. Awesome stuff though, now that I'm awake I may have to buy some.
R.I.P. My Signature. Lost to us in the great Signature Massacre of 2014.

duncang likes to argue... luckily I haven't been in an argument with him, yet...

True. Unexpect is great, my favorite songs are Another Dissonant Chord because of that epic and amazing choral parts, Summoning Scenes for the sick intro and singing, and Chromatic Chimera and Feasting Fools for their twistedness. My favorite album by them is definately In a Flesh Aquarium, but We_Invaders is great too, Vesper's Gold is sick.

Great musicians, great music.
Emo is to music as etch-a-sketch is to art.

And I have you to thank for introducing me to their music.

This band flays cattle with wicker bins.
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

Yes, duncang's taste is a bit off and he's somewhat full of himself, frankly I can't stand the guy.

Are you the guy from the Meshuggah article?

EDIT: Wait, it wasn't about Meshuggah...it just involved Meshuggah and for some reason how not liking them made you musically ignorant, or something...my memory fails me.

That wasn't my point, I just didn't word it correctly and didn't feel like continuing a pointless argument.

It will return soon, my friend...

Have patience.

I also love uneXpect threads as they do turn fairly quickly into duncan-bashing threads/arguments

The only thing I can remember from my n00b days in UG is a guy with a dancing jackass in his avatar, bashing me because I said something about Ghost Reveries

so get it back!
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

Among the churchyard’s mouldering stones I recognise a name – my own.
I have come home to Arkham.

I downloaded their discography around a year ago. They're pretty awesome. My favorite UneXpect song is probably either "Desert Urbania", "Feasting Fools", or "The revival".

The stuff I heard is great. I need to get some albums.

I think I make this exact post in tons of threads...

In A Flesh Aquarium is amazing, but I think Utopia is easier to get into, so if you don't like them and haven't heard Utopia, I suggest you give that album a listen; it just might change your mind about them.

I missed them when they came round Michigan, I was so pissed when couldn't make it. This is one of my favorite bands I have all their cd's and can't wait for the new album.
