Hi Guys

I have the squier copy of the Dexule Telecaster (2 humbuckers, 4 controls) and I cant get my pickup srewed in right.

I wont go into details about why I tried to take it out but now it is really loose,
I can screw them all the way but then the pickup end up too high (touching the strings) but as they are the pickup is free to fall out when the guitar is on an angle (so only the strings and the slight srews are stopping it)

How do I get the screws tight but with the pickups at a decent height?
Remember, this is a tele so the pickup does not have a surround.

Please can someone help?

1 - Remove your pickguard.

2 - Unscrew the pickup mounting screws.

3 - Place the springs (you'll find laying in the bottom of your pickup cavity) on the screws.

4 - Thread the screws back into the pickup flanges.

5 - Re-install pickguard.

6 - ?????????

7 - PROFIT!!!
