You seem to make alot of these threads.
Maybe go out and try some out for yourself.

Well, modern fenders can get pretty good John Mayer tones.
But you may need something along the british voicing for jimi and froosh.

I say Palomino. I got a very nice Froosh tone similar to "Wet Sand", where its just his strat straight to his amp clean. The OD on that is pretty good for stuff similar to John's and Jimi's some. I would definately get a 30w Palomino if you have the money.

Well, i'm really not too sure. You'd have to try out some amps.
I played a fender supersonic which was pretty versatile for a fender, it could probably get both. But it's out of your price range. If you saved up more cash and got one used, you probably could get one.

But listen to the recommendations for palominos and peavey classics and stuff like that. Those are pretty versatile.

^Which one?
If you're talking about an AC30, it's a bit hard to find them that cheap. It's possible though.
And although it's a good amp, it may not cover what you want.

You should really go out and try some amps out. Make a tournament style list. Have like 10 that you're gonna try out, and keep going back and knocking amps off until you decide on the one that you like best.
It worked pretty well for me.
