I want to use my acoustic while standing but there is no strap button on the neck side of the guitar, only at the bridge. What would be the best way to use it while standing without it being really uncomfortable?

You can either put a strap button on the heel of the neck of your guitar, or take a shoe lace and tie it around the headstock, underneath the strings behind the nut. Either are safe and acceptable.

Gear:
Partscaster/Tele into a bunch of pedals, a Maz 18 head, and a Z Best cab.
#3
Tie a string through the strap and around the headstock just above the nut.

Here is the two attachement methods mentioned.

I like to have mine tied a little higher than the nut so it doesnt foul your fretting hand when sliding. Like the pic below.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one that clicked this thread thinking I would learn how to make my guitar sound like a grizzly bear.

im gonna get one of those glider capos and can u just attach the strap to that?

I wouldn't recommend it. There are a wealth of things that could go wrong, and you would still have to tie it, anyways. If you're going to do this, then why not simply tie it to the headstock?

Do u mean what guitar? If so, I believe both he and Jack are playing Maton CW80's.

Yeah both pics are the same sort of guitar.

They are of Matons but which one I'm not sure I think either the "Australian series A80" or the "Messiah series M100"

^--Not the messiah, it has gold tuners and the logo on the 17th fret.
