Hi,
I've been on many sites to find out how to set intonation, but they all said something about fretted notes and 12th fret harmonics. What are they?

I brought my electric to school w/ no amp and started playing it, and some guy was like "I can barely hear it, and it doesn't sound all cool. I think it's a fake guitar"

play the 12th fret to a tuner if it sharp or flat its got the problem

to make a harmonic sound just gently press ur finger on the string but dont push down on the 12th fret to create the 12th fret harmonic

Thanks. But, when I play the 12th fret then adjust the screw, the pitch dosen't change (its still sharp). What am I doing wrong?
