Well, I ordered some Schockty (spelling?) Diodes a week ago and they finally arrived!

Wired 2 up, and I'm puzzled by the fact that the 'overdrive' is barely noticable at all.

Anyone had experiance with these, and can you help me with this?

Thanks,

Go with Ibanez...Or if you're going high-end, get a Jackson.

mines pretty noticeable. I definitely here better resuults when the amp is turned up a bit on the clean channel on my neck pickup. But its not suppose to add a whole lot. Mines a really nice bluesy crunch to it. Do you have a picture or something to see how you wired it?

and which diodes did you order specifically?

Yeah, I'll take some pics when my mum gets in with the camera.
