I've been thinking about where I'll be going in life and where I'd like to be.

What cities do you figure are ideal places to live?

I remember taking some quiz and it said Portland, Oregon was best for me.

EDIT: I'll open this up to the whole world actually.

I wouldn't call it the best, but New Brunswick NJ is pretty damn cool. I've heard lots of good things about Chicago all though I've never been there. Oh yeah, Manhattan is overrated, Brooklyn is better.

Chicago is a great city, but it's cold 10 months out of the year, and when it's not cold it's 109 degrees.

Add to that the fact that everyone is an asshole and you pretty much have Chicago in a nutshell.

But for some reason it is actually a lot of fun. Probably because nobody there cares about you, themselves or anyone or anything else. It's just a big pit of not giving a ****.

I would love to live in Toronto for anywhere in the world but in the USA it would probably be Chicago.

As for cities in the UK probably Durham, Cardiff or Leeds.

Pittsburgh's the best I've been to, but I haven't been to many other big cities besides New York, Philly, Baltimore, and DC. Ultimately, I want to live in Seattle for a while, it looks real nice.

Brugge. It's the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Close second is San Francisco.

In the US, I've only been to New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles; plus resorts in places like Orlando and San Diego.

Out of that lot, I'd say Los Angeles, if only because of the weather.

In the UK, London. It just has everything (except decent weather).

In the rest of Europe, probably Rome out of what I've been to.

I live like 20 minutes away from New Brunswick, pretty awesome music and activists scenes there. Camden really is a place you want to try to avoid, so is Newark.

Boston. It's nice half the year, great historical sites and easy to walk or take public transportation through.

I see we have a lot of Central New Jersey people (I live in Old Bridge myself)
I'd say Central New Jersey rocks.
Newark isn't so bad in the Ironbound.
