Sounds good. 320 gigs should allow you a nice music collection.

People stumbling upon your porn too often?

That must've cost you quite a deal, but the screen seems a bit small and it's LCD. If you're gonna do drawing/some sort of graphics which I'm guessing from your wacom question, LCDs aren't very good.

Could have got a nicer processor and possible larger HD, certainly a faster one (and I personally like 3+ gig of RAM) but pretty tidy.

Only BAD thing is that it's a Dell.

That's Intel's 45 nm Penryn processor, one of the best in the business. Basing processors off their clock speed is pointless nowadays. A faster processor would result in about a $300 increase. Plus, it's really hard to find a hard drive larger than 320 gigs. And a 7200 rpm hard drive would result in a terrible battery life. Though a 3 gig RAM increase wouldn't be bad.

I have an XPS 1330 which is a great laptop.

It sort of defeats the purpose of an easily moveable computer station but yeah, there's always that

I have a Dell XPS M1530 but in the black shell. Only difference between mine and yours is that I have 3gigs ram, and a 200gig 7200 rpm hard drive. The PC is very nice, I havent had any issues with it. Only thing that is kind of ****ty is Vista, but even that isnt horrible (Aside from Video Drivers randomly going unresponsive.) Honestly its a very nice computer in my opinion - ONly thing I would suggest is DONT use the mouse pad...buy a normal Mouse (if you havent already)

EDIT: and I use mine for college work/ PC games and all I can say is....WOW i'm pulling like 70-80 FPS (Frames per second for all you non-nerds) in most games.

SECOND EDIT: As I read some other posts I saw that some of you were talking about the small 15.4 inch screen. It was alittle small for me, so I went out and bought a 19" Dell LCD flat screen. I hooked it on the side of my computer for double the desktop space. This is awesome for writing papers and reading information online at the same time!
it needs more cowbell!
