an easy way to test if the battery is dead is to lift the whole laptop over your head and drop it, if it turns on you're fine...

Laptops run on lithium batteries don't they?

Keeping it charging while the battery is at full power shortens the life of the battery...

It went into hibernate mode.... some computers seem to go into hibernate and never come out again

either some combination of pressing on the keyboard a bunch you know... skdnmflskdmflsdmlskdmlfkms lkdmf lskdmf lskdm and see if it does anything (probably not) or pressing the power button quickly and release wait a few seconds.... if nothing happens alkmsalkdmlaskm again... nothing happen press and hold power button for 2-3 seconds and release... same dslkmflsdkfmlsdkmf again... still nothing...

pull power plug from the wall. unplug power from back of laptop... remove battery from laptop. wait a few seconds plug it all back in. turn power on

idk, leaving a laptop on all night isnt good for them. if its not the battery, then theres a possibility that leaving it on made something such as the cpu get too hot and over heat, which i have seen happen before.

Mac: It doesn't always just work.

Seriously, these "buy a mac" tips are the dumbest and most useless advices. It's dumbfounding that someone can hold spending $1000-2000 as an easy fix.

...modes and scales are still useless.
