i seem to be going through them WAY to fast, ive gone through 3 in the last month. is it me, or is it just sh***y cords?

don't move your pedals around when chords are attached, make sure the cords aren't bending at any awkward angles.

buy good cords, and if you're doing anything extreme with them, other than just letting them lie there, stop it.
