Full band and drums were mic'd out with a 7-piece CAD. Bass and guitar were mic'd with SM57s.

Guitar was Ibanez SZ520 and a Mesa Boogie F-100 half stack.

Enjoy

To be honest...overall is was hard to hear. It sounded like it was mic'd with (1) room mic. From what i could hear....the playing wasnt bad, it was just hard to hear...like too much reverb or something.

I also did a "live" cover with my band...please check it out on my profile, the last song:

Amps were a Carvin V-3 and a Triple Rectifier,i use the Mesa,my other guitarist uses the V-3. Bass player used a Ampeg SVT Pro i think.
Guitars were sm57's and the bass was DI'd.
Drums were whatever mics were left,a 57 , 48 , and (2) others i cant think of....
All into a Firepod straight into the computer.

i thought it was a pretty good cover..drums and vocals were good..an pretty nice tone on the guitar, but it was off timing almost throughout the entire song..also maybe next time try increasing the high end in the recording it sounded pretty muffled..overall good work though..please check out mine if ya can..its in my profile and i got a thread on here for it
