Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I want to smack everyone at my school who says that it's probably a horrible movie.I'm the one who I know that has watched it at my school.

Bang, Bang, You're Dead.
It's about school violence and shootings. It is amazing! It pwns movies like "Elephant".

It has an 8.2 score in IMDB.
Scene to show the awesome. It's at the level of the "**** You" scene in "25th Hour" in my opinion.

I've actually seen both of those movies AND happen to enjoy them both. But what about one's like "El Topo" or "Fulltime Killer"......hell even "Ichi the Killer". I go for the indie and Japanese flicks more than those........i don't know "mainstream" (is that the right word?) ones.

This was definitely a good one.
But ugh, when they did that to his hands. *shudder*

Also, Shaolin Soccer/Kung Fu Hustle. Even if they weren't good they're worth watching.
Um, that one with Mark Hamill in WWII... Was it Big Red One? That was an alright war movie.

That's one of the greatest movies ever made, but I'm pretty sure it's fairly popular.

Sneakers and Shadowlands are two great movies that I never hear anything about. But then, I could be wrong about no one knowing about them.

I'm probably the only person I know that's seen Equilibrium, Requiem for a Dream, and any of Ellen Page's movies pre-Juno. Everyone around here only seem to care about the likes of Transformers and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Also, Shaolin Soccer

Shaolin Soccer was awesome!

Dude, everyone knows that movie cause everyone are crazed Johnny Depp fanboys.

Not even.

Everyone thinks of Edward Scissorhands or Pirate of the Caribbean when then they think of Johnny.

A lot of Depp fanbois/girls don't even know about Stuff.

I'm a Frusciante fanboy.=\

Yeah, I know Requiem is quite a well known film, but I was really just talking about its recognition with people I know. It's pretty tough to think of a movie that none of you Pit-dwellers have heard of.

Good to see you agree that Equilibrium is very underrated. It's easily may favorite Christian Bale movie, next to American Psycho of course...

and yes, Hard Candy is most definitely awesome.

El Topo is a ****ed up masterpeice. 'Ichi the Killer' was really good but I was actually really disturbed by it.

My favourite films that most people haven't heard of include 'The Conformist', 'Goodbye Lenin' and also Scorceses' first film 'Who's that knocking at my door?' that hardly anyone actually knows about.

Plus there are loads of Spaghetti Westerns like 'Compañeros', 'The Great Silence', 'Death Rides a Horse' that only a Spag western geek would have seen.
