Hay,
Is it a bad idea to use slapping/popping technique on my Ibanez RG 360 w/ a floyd rose?
I need to know cause it's damn fun to do.

Yeah man, some slap bassist have floyd style trems on their basses (Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten), and Chris Broderick did a slap jazz demo thing for GW, and he had and Edge Pro on his Ibanez RG1572, it should be fine i'd imagine.

Nope I play with exremely hard attack, and pop the strings in my some of my solos.
I use an Ernie Ball MM w/FR for standard tuning.

But of caution - if you do it too hard or too often, you could pull the string out of the saddle. But if you maintain your FR correctly, you wont have much of a problem with that.
