try one of the government websites. They usually have lots of stats.

cia.gov has the US growth rate for 2007

not 1996-2006.

I'm sure your national statistics agency will have them, in fact I'm sure I was looking at them a couple of weeks ago - I'll have a look for you.

Those are percentage changes in real GDP "based on chained 2000 dollars", which I'm guessing is American for "indexed with a base year of 2000".
