i was at my friends house last night and someone else that was there threw a big traffic cone at me and the base of it, like the bottom of it where it is like hard plastic hit me in the knee and it hurts like hell.. i have a track meet on saturday and i tried running today and it hurt pretty bad.. does anyone know how to at least make it feel better so it is just like a small minor pain when i run

Don't run, keep off of it, put ice on it for 10-15 minutes at a time for the next couple days, and if it's still bad go to a doctor.

You might have bruised the tissue under the knee cap... that's not good and you probably won't be able to run. The more you run on it the longer it will take to heal. I'd go see a physio to find out for sure.
